60 Seconds in Chile

Not one of ours, but a great video from ABC Open

I have just arrived back from a 5-week journey in Chile, South America, and I have been asked by lots of people to show some images of my trip. Because I’m a super nice guy, I spent a bit of time going through the highlights of my trip and selecting some of the best shots. I even gave myself a time limit of one minute to present it in. The above video has 40 shots in total, which goes to show how much you can actually fit in to one minute. Music by Sabw - morning-morning

Quadcopters!

I want one...

In a robot lab at TEDGlobal, Raffaello D'Andrea demos his flying quadcopters: robots that think like athletes, solving physical problems with algorithms that help them learn. In a series of nifty demos, D'Andrea show drones that play catch, balance and make decisions together -- and watch out for an I-want-this-now demo of Kinect-controlled quads.
